Based in Palo Alto, the accelerator also operates StartX-QB3 Labs and the Stanford-StartX Fund. StartX and StartX Med, dedicated to medical and biotechnology innovation, provide founders with access to a powerful network of entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and industry partners, along with office space and a variety of other resources. Since launching in 2010, we have supported more than 400 companies and 800 entrepreneurs, from early to pre-IPO stage, working across a wide spectrum of industries. Our mission is to advance the development of the best entrepreneurs through experiential education and peer learning. There was a panel of entrepreneurs who had graduated from their program and they were there to share. Its an organization that will help launch entrepreneurs with some kind of Stanford affliation (alums, partners who might work at Stanford, etc).
StartX is a 501(c)(3) Stanford-affiliated nonprofit in Silicon Valley that runs one of the world’s top startup accelerator programs. 1 review of StartX 'I attended a conference last week and got a chance to go visit StartX, a non-profit funded by Stanford University. Deep 6 Analytics has also won US government-sponsored contests, beating out some of the biggest names in analytics. StartX represents another addition to the Deep 6 Analytics’ growing list of accomplishments, which includes acceptance into the Techstars Healthcare Accelerator in partnership with Cedars-Sinai and Healthbox’s modified-accelerator program. StartX gives us access to an extremely talented and diverse community and set of mentors whose advice and assistance can move us forward in a way not possible on our own. StartX founders tackle big problems in every industry, from biotech, medical device, hardware, cleantech, and non-profit to consumer and enterprise IT. The StartX community will provide Deep 6 Analytics with access to 800+ alumni founders, world-class coaches and advisors, angel investors and venture capitalists, and customized educational programming based on team, industry and stage. In addition, Deep 6 Analytics will receive resources worth more than $600,000 from StartX program partners. The highly-competitive program has historically accepted 8 to 10 percent of applicants. StartX is an industry- and stage-agnostic nonprofit organization that helps the highest potential entrepreneurs in the Stanford University network succeed by providing tactical help, experiential education, funding, and a vast network of mentors and investors. Deep 6 Analytics, an artificial intelligence-enabled technology platform for matching patients to clinical trials, is extremely excited to have been accepted into Stanford’s StartX Accelerator Fall 2016 Program.
